Full Stack Developer

We are looking for passionate fullstack developers with Python Django + angular experience who are interested in building things ground-up. There is ample room to innovate by questioning conventional wisdom and creating world-class software, and working closely with management to expand cross-functional skills. The role will join a small team working on development of their core technology and related services, contribute to the architecture of their site and create a scalable framework for future growth. You will be given a high degree of autonomy in a flexible environment, with real scope to progress quickly.

RESPONSIBILITY
  • Contribute to site architecture
  • Create a global, scalable framework
  • Build back-end services and APIs
  • Help with cloud deployments
  • Take a lead role in developing future features (design, implement, test and deploy)

Bioinformatics

We are looking for passionate bioinformatics software engineers interested in building things ground-up. Ideally looking for someone to become an integral part of our system who has a prior experience or good understanding of bioinformatics. We are also open to considering talented software engineers who have very quick learning ability and interest in bioinformatics.

RESPONSIBILITY

As a bioinformatics engineer, you will be exposed to :

  • Work closely with your business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.
  • Write production grade software for various aspects of RNA, WGS, Exome analysis and variant effect predictions.
  • Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results
  • Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods
  • Horizon scan to stay up to date with the latest technology, techniques and methods
  • Conduct research from which you’ll develop prototypes and proof of concepts
SKILLS

We value ideas and encourage progressive mindset and out of the box thinking. Most important skill we expect is excellent analytical and problem-solving ability. Additionally, we expect candidates to have :

  • Experience programming with Python
  • Good understanding of various bioinformatics resources, tools and basics analysis flows for NGS analysis.
  • Have a good understanding of applying software engineering and bioinformatics techniques to polyploidy data.
  • Fair understanding of genomics concepts
  • Productionising software
  • Nice to have but not mandatory

Data Scientist

We are looking for passionate data scientists interested in building things ground-up. There is ample room to innovate by questioning conventional wisdom and creating world-class software, and working closely with management to expand cross-functional skills.

RESPONSIBILITY

As a data scientist, you will be exposed to :

  • Work closely with your business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.
  • Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, interrogate and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers or the wider organisation
  • Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems
  • Test data mining models to select the most appropriate ones for use on a project
  • Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results
  • Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods
  • Horizon scan to stay up to date with the latest technology, techniques and methods
  • Conduct research from which you’ll develop prototypes and proof of concepts
  • Stay curious and enthusiastic about using algorithms to solve problems and enthuse others to see the benefit of your work
SKILLS
